We are excited to announce the release of our Impact and Advocacy Report for 2022
We are excited to announce the release of our Impact and Advocacy Report for 2022. This year's report focuses on three key areas: political transparency, reproductive rights, and ESG disclosure transparency.
Additionally, we explore our efforts to become climate-neutral as a company. We have partnered with Aclymate to measure our carbon footprint and implementing strategies to reduce our emissions. We have also invested in high-quality carbon offsets, through Grassroots Carbon, to mitigate any remaining emissions. This approach ensures that we take responsibility for our environmental impact and work towards a sustainable future. We are thrilled to announce that Change Finance has taken a significant step towards environmental sustainability by becoming a climate-neutral company. As an organization that is deeply committed to promoting positive change and advancing social justice, we recognize the urgent need to address the ongoing climate crisis.
Our commitment to environmental sustainability aligns perfectly with our broader mission to create positive change and promote social justice. By taking bold action to address the climate crisis, we are demonstrating our dedication to creating a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
We are excited to share this report with you to showcase our progress on issues we believe are important for people and the planet. Political transparency is an important issue that affects all of us. In our report, we explore ways to increase transparency in the political process, such as requiring politicians to disclose their donors and implementing stricter lobbying regulations.
Reproductive rights are another area of focus for our report. Everyone has the right to make decisions about their own bodies and reproductive health, and these rights should be protected. We examine the current state of reproductive rights in the US, and advocate for policies that promote reproductive health and access to care.
Finally, our report highlights the need for greater transparency in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) disclosures. Companies should be held accountable for their impact on the environment and society, and that investors should have access to clear and accurate information about these impacts. We support the SEC's recent proposal to require companies to disclose more information about their ESG practices, and we urge them to take bold action to increase transparency in this area.
We hope this report will inspire meaningful change and encourage others to join us in advocating for these important issues. Thank you for your support, and please share our report widely to help raise awareness and promote action.
We are excited to continue leading by example and hope our efforts will inspire others to join us in this important work. Together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future for ourselves and for generations to come.
