Even those not involved in the day to day business of Wall Street are becoming familiar with the concept of SRI or Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing. The press seems eager to cover this once small niche in the financial industry, and assets are flooding into the SRI space. 2019 was a pivotal year, with flows into sustainable investment funds reaching $20.6 billion, a nearly 400% increase from the previous year.
